XPT Power Car XP2006 ("City of Wagga Wagga") on platform 1, Central, leading the Melbourne XPT, ST3.

(Top and Bottom-left): Two XPT's at Sydney Terminal.

On platform 1 is XP2005 terminated on a late running XPT which arrived in Sydney Terminal, after being stranded at Maitland due to a bushfire on the Central Coast line.

Platform 2 is XP2012 trailing the awaiting departure of the Melbourne XPT (ST3).

In the early hours of the morning, the driver and fireman light-up 1049 for operation on the day's steam train services.

Series 2000 Railmotor, 2016 at the end of the line on the Zig Zag's Newnes junction extension.

This line is planned to reach the original Newnes junction where the Zig Zag line actually began.
