46 Class Locomotives

Metropolitan Vickers delivered forty 46 class electric locomotives through the 1950's for use on freight on the Blue Mountains line and also hauling passenger services. Unfortunately, after final retirement in 1997, the majority of them have been scrapped, leaving only five left for preservation:

	4601- Valley Heights Locomotive Depot
	4601- Dorrigo Steam & Railway Museum
	4615- Owned by Sydney Electric Train Society (Operating)
	4627- Rothbury Riot Railway & Steam Museum Group
	4638- Owned by the NSW Rail Transport Museum (Operating)
