The Intercity Platform organised a private social outing to the Sydney Tramway Museum (Or SPER Co-op - South Pacific Electric Railway Co-Operative), Loftus, which involved a 'tour' aboard two privately chartered trams (Former Berlin Tram 5133 and Former Brisbane 'Phoenix' Tram 548) from Loftus to Royal National Park and return (With photostops on return journeys!), and also a guided tour of the infrastructure and workshops used by the Tramway Museum.

The Intercity Platform, and all outing patrons, are grateful for the assistance provided by SPER Co-op, particularly from Co-op Treasurer and Secretary Robert Merchant, and museum volunteer Mark Newton in the organisation of this outing.

(All): Ex-Melbourne Z1 Class train, Z111, was the Tramway Museum's latest acquisition, delivered in early 2003.

Z111 is seen inside the museum's workshops undertaking electrical repairs.
