Preserved diesel locomotives, 4201 (New South Wales Rail Transport Museum) and 4908 (3801 Limited) with State Rail Authority's Millennium set M9, on display during the 3801 60th Anniversary exhibition.

Canberra Xplorer, with 2505 leading, is adjacent on platform 2.

Northern Tablelands Xplorer Service, NP23 arrives into Strathfield station.

The rear two carriages (NP23A To Moree) were not attached to the rear of the train and passengers to Moree were coached.
