(Top and Bottom-Left): Due to bushfire disruptions on the Central Coast line at Fassifern for two days, Countrylink XPT services to the North were stranded at Maitland.

The morning after the line's reopening, An empty XPT and Murwillumbah (NT2) XPT's returned back to Sydney Terminal after being stranded at Maitland due to the bushfire at Fassifern.

From Platform 3 to 1 (Left to right); departing XP2003 (NT2), departing XP2012 (Melbourne XPT - ST3) and terminating XP2005 (Grafton XPT - NT25).

(Top and Bottom-left): Two XPT's at Sydney Terminal.

On platform 1 is XP2005 terminated on a late running XPT which arrived in Sydney Terminal, after being stranded at Maitland due to a bushfire on the Central Coast line.

Platform 2 is XP2012 trailing the awaiting departure of the Melbourne XPT (ST3).

On the other end of the two XPTs (Refer to above photographs), XP2000 (Right) is leading the Melbourne XPT (ST3) whereas XP2014 trailed the late running empty XPT.

XP2000 is painted in the special Sydney 2000 Olympics livery.

(Top and Bottom-Left:) A very late running Dubbo XPT (WT 27), led by XP2018 overtakes V1 at Mount Victoria. 

This train would have been running at least 2hrs behind schedule primarily due to trackwork between St Marys and Granville on the day.
