                Passenger Interior

The interior of the Millennium Train from the vestibule to the passenger decks are another outstanding feature which commuters are more noticeable of. From the end vestibules of the carriage, floor space is fairly large in surface area and has less obstructions from both floor and overhead. All handle bars and handrails present are coloured in the same bright as the doors, which can also be easily distinguished from the overall colour of the interior, light grey.

The end vestibule seats, though narrow in width, can be folded up to accompany wheelchairs and/or any other disabled requirement. All steps and doorways are highlighted in this yellow colour.

The gangway in between carriages (Narrow in width) are separated by a pair of doors, opened by pressing a red button and automatically close a few seconds after the passenger has passed the adjacent carriage door. The carriage doors have spotlights affixed to either side, and light up when the doors are opened to illuminate the yellow highlighted doorway and the platform surface.
